Offline Method to SBI ATM Pin Generation

1. SMS/Green PIN Service

  • First and foremost, This method is suitable for SBI Debit Card services.
  • You should also have a registered mobile phone number.
  • Send an SMS to 567676 in the format - PIN.
  • Replace with the last four digits of your Debit Card number.
  • Replace with the last four digits of your SBI bank account number.
  • You will immediately receive an OTP (one time password) on the phone.

Use this OTP to generate PIN at the nearest ATM centre. 

2. ATM Kiosk/Room

  • First, You have to go to the nearest SBI ATM machine.
  • Select the PIN generation option from the activated screen.
  • On the next screen, You have to enter the SBI account number.
  • After that type in the registered mobile phone number.
  • Submit the phone number once again for confirmation.
  • The one-time password (OTP) is sent to your mobile a few seconds later.
  • Next, You have to enter this OTP in the ATM machine screen.
  • The new SBI ATM pin generation request is immediately processed.

  • DOB in DD MM YYYY format and card expiry date in MM YY format are also needed.
  • Submit the one-time password/OTP and select a 4 - digit PIN number.
  • You have to type in the same 4-digit PIN once again for confirmation.

Online SBI ATM Pin Generation

1. Web Site

  • Go to the SBI website and login to your online account.
  • Click on ‘My Account’ tab on the left-hand side menu.
  • Click ‘Manage Pin’, and select the card which requires SBI ATM PIN generation.
  • Click on ‘Generate OTP’ and type in OTP (received on the mobile phone).
  • Enter the PIN two times and click 'Submit'.

2. Mobile App

  • Open SBI mobile App and login to your account
  • Click on ‘Service Requests’ option on the left-hand side menu.
  • Click ‘Manage Pin’, and select the card which requires SBI ATM PIN generation.
  • Click on ‘Generate OTP’ and type in OTP (received on the mobile phone).

Enter the PIN two times and click 'Submit'.
